Major site updates by month:
- DeafBlind Services Minnesota (DBSM) and Department of Human Services,
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division invite you to a DeafBlind
Community Town Hall Meeting. This meeting is for deafblind adults. Come
to the meeting to talk about services and issues related to deafblind
needs.
Date: Thursday, June 10, 2020
Time: 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Where: Vision Loss Resources, 1936 Lyndale Ave S., Minneapolis. (Corner
of Lyndale and Franklin.)
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 26, 2004.

- The Great Lakes Area DeafBlind Conference scheduled for June 14-18
has been CANCELLED.
- Updated About
the Author page to reflect the author's current position as an AmeriCorps
tutor and plans for further education.
- Received another award from the Education Community and posted it
on the Awards page.
- Updated contact information for the Helen Keller National Center on the National (USA) Resource Guide.
- Received two more awards from the Deaf/Disability Community and posted
them on the Awards
page.
- Added BlindFoods.com to the list of online shopping resources on our
Supports
- Assistive Technology page.
- Moved the "Skip Navigation and Jump to Main Content" link
so it is the first link on each page.

for Mailing Lists, Newsletters, or Pen Pals? section of the main
Resources page.
- Added links "Back to top of page" on longer pages, to aid
in navigation for text- and screenreader-based web users.
- Set up an Awards
page for displaying the awards and recognitions that DeafBlindinfo.org
has received.
- Received five awards - two from the disability community, two from
the education community, and one for web design - and posted them on
the Awards page.
- Posted praise for site content received
from Toni Hollingsworth of Maryland School for the Blind and Bill Darling
of the Critical Mass Awards.
- Added a "Web Site Info" section to the left navigation stripe,
